Next step
Choose Pool People and we'll set an appointment to take detailed measurements. Fit is extremely important. We bring liner swatches and brochures so you can pick your pattern, and collect a 50% deposit.
The manufacturer takes about 3–7 days to build your custom liner. During most of the season we install within two weeks of measuring.
Installation
We pump the water out (1–2 hours on a full pool) with plenty of discharge hose so it never affects the neighbors. Then we remove and haul off the old liner.
Next we hand-trowel and repair the pool bottom, replace gaskets, and add or repair wall foam if needed and agreed on beforehand. Your new liner usually goes in that same day, held tight with a vacuum system while the pool fills.
You fill to the marker we set in the shallow end, then call us — we come back, cut in the liner, and finish up. Then you fill it the rest of the way and swim.

How long does a liner replacement take?
Once your custom liner arrives, most replacements are finished in two days. We drain, remove the old liner, prep and repair the floor and walls, set the new liner, and start the fill before we leave.
Do you replace the coping around the pool?
No. The coping is bolted to the pool walls, and in most cases the concrete deck is poured into or around it. Because of this, replacing the coping is a much more involved process than replacing the pool liner.
What can I do if my pool steps are cracked or damaged?
Removing and replacing fiberglass pool steps can be very expensive. Small hairline cracks on the surface are usually cosmetic, and blisters typically do not cause the steps to leak. If your steps have structural damage or you simply want to make them look new again, we can refer you to a couple of companies that specialize in fiberglass pool step repair and restoration.
